The Blessed Virgin Mary:
My dear child, it is not by mere words that prayers and petitions should be brought to the Lord. When you pray you must live with ardent feeling the words or thoughts that you are presenting to the Lord, in other words I ask you to use the language of the Spirit.
Many prayers are not answered because people don’t pray from the heart, they seem to come to the Lord just to complain about their miseries and they forget to praise Him and to thank Him first.
