God punished the angels for their disobedience, He then sent the flood and spared only Noah and his family, then He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. The whole world will be next. [2 Peter 3:10-12] [2 Peter 2:4-6]
Some evil doctrines deny that God punishes sin. Some even teach that we re-incarnate, therefore denying punishment [Hebrews 9:27]. The first punishment was given to Lucifer and his disobedient angels, they were stripped of their light and were cast into darkness [Ezekiel 28:13-19].[Revelation 12:3-4]
In Paradise man was stripped of immortality for defying God by sin, for not being afraid of His threat [Genesis 2:17].
Because of the wickedness of man [Genesis 6:5], Noah was told to build an ark to escape the flood that would punish the world. [Genesis 6:16-17], then after the flood the new generations kept on offending God up to the point of Sodom and Gomorrah when their sins cried out for the punishment of God [Genesis 13:13] God destroyed the two cities by brimstone and fire [Genesis 19:24]
Man adores false gods. First they were idols made of wood or metal representing either animals or men, now man idolises his body with the vanities of the world, sex, sports, fashions, luxuries, entertainment, possessions, cars, power, prestige, education, honours, elegance, and all materialism in general. Man also idolises other men such as movie stars, artists, etc.
We are citizens of Heaven and we are just passing by [Ephesians 2:19], therefore we must not live for this world but for the world to come. We need some of the commodities of life, but we have been pushed into standards beyond our needs where we are shoved straight into materialism. This has caused injustice because the poor will always get poorer, while the rich get richer. Because of this which is the contrary to the commandment of love for God and for our neighbour, we deserve to be punished [Ezekiel 7:19-27].
Jesus came to give us Salvation but He came also to open our eyes to see the punishment that we deserve for our sins. He said that the righteous will inherit eternal life but the wicked will go away into eternal punishment.[Matthew 25:46]
God will repay with affliction those who afflict
others, but He will reward with riches those who love one another, Jesus will come in His
Glory and his holy angels in flaming fire will inflict vengeance upon those who
reject God and the Gospel of Salvation.
[2 Thessalonians 1:6-9]
We are living in apocalyptical times, when the cups of the anger of God are being poured upon us, the beast is alive, its number is 666, [Revelation 13:11-18] but it calls for the Wisdom of God to understand it. It has taken life, it deceives and performs signs and wonders, it causes everyone to be marked on the forehead and on the hand, it has the power of speech and peoples of the earth adore it. No one can buy or sell unless he is marked by the beast. Incredible as it may sound to many the beast is alive through the media. The television screen speaks and deceives, corrupts souls and is used to control minds in mass numbers.
We are affected by consumerism, which is inflicted upon us through the media, so that we can immerse our selves in total materialism, leaving no room for God in our lives. By the mark on the forehead we are invited to saturate ourselves with knowledge of good and evil.
We must learn what is good in order to compete for a
better position, to acquire a top job and to excel above the rest, those who are left
behind have no chance of survival.
While we need to have a job in order to survive, the ugly 666 mark will fill us with greed
and with carelessness for the poor.
By the knowledge of evil we are exposed to a continuous parade of wickedness, and no wonder we can't find any sin in that any more [Isaiah 3:9], it is so common and acceptable. Children are stripped of their innocence by a T.V. screen, while the parents neglect them because they are always busy. We are also marked in the hand by our desire for money, which is the root of all evils [1 Timothy 6:10].
To think about the devil has become a great joke, the devil is glamorised in images, music, entertainment, books, etc. He is also exalted as sacred things are mocked and despised. [Isaiah 5:20-25]
So the Lord has revealed the punishment to come: If anyone worships the beast and his image, and if he receives the mark on the forehead and on his hand; he will drink of the cup of God's wrath, and will be tormented with fire [Revelation 14:9-10]
If someone's name is not found written in the book of life, he will be thrown into the lake of eternal fire to suffer the second death, that is, the death of his spirit to eternal damnation. [Revelation 20:14-15]
The summit of wickedness is the disrespect for life and the purpose for which we are created. We are temples of the Holy Spirit and we must render account for our bodies otherwise we will be punished.[1 Corinthians 3:17]
We must preserve life and multiply [Genesis 1:27-28], but we have entered into the culture of death. We commit sin by stopping life with contraceptive methods, this in turn has led society to promiscuity. Innocent lives are being taken in the wombs of their mothers because life is not precious any more, we disregard the author of life and we have contempt for His law.
The disrespect for life has made marriage an unnecessary thing, couples live in adultery with no concern for the sanctification of the unity between man and woman. Annulment of Marriage and Divorce have become the destroyers of marriages, they destroy also the lives of their children. [Malachi 2:15-16]
God has commanded that what He joins together no man has the right to separate, except for very special reasons like adultery. [Mark 10:9]
Now, since people live to find pleasure, a lot of people seek it with others of the same sex.
Homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord [Leviticus 18:22]
