SORROWFUL MOTHER
The Blessed Virgin Mary:
My dear child, as you come to me in spirit before the Sepulchre of the Lord, you console me in my sorrows on this Sabbath which I spent without my beloved son.
How deep is my sorrow when I look at this humanity which lives in a dark, cold and pathetic sepulchre, because their souls have died in pursuit of the life of pleasure that the world and the flesh have to offer incited by the enemy of life.
How grieved is my heart at the indifference they show to my Son the Saviour of the world who has accomplished everything in the Power of God to save mankind.
How grieved is my soul at the indifference they show to the Holy Doctrine that my Son instituted in his new Law of Grace and Salvation through his Church.
How grieved is my soul at the rejection of the Sacraments of the Presence and Healing of my Son which are rejected by so many sick souls.
How dead are you in your sins and yet how powerful is the Mercy of God available to every sinner if they repent and come back to Him humbly.
How powerful is the Lord who comes out of that Sepulchre in the Light of the Resurrection and the Life to share His Glory with those who follow Him.
My grief is alleviated by the hope that is in you my children of faith, by your prayers and by your concern for your brethren.
Thank you for consoling your Sorrowful Mother.
