Jesus:
Today you are venerating my infancy in this Filipino Fiesta of the Santo Niño. It is my infancy that gives the purity and holiness, the humility and goodness, the innocence and beauty to the soul when it is created. A beautiful image of God made man that does not last very long because of the reasoning of man. When the child begins to outgrow my image in Him, He is open to temptation and sin.
There is a little holy child, in every one of you. You must try to restore that image within you by repenting, by living a life of purity and holiness, by humbling yourselves once more like a child who knows nothing but is prepared to learn without any obstacle, because innocence accepts anything as the truth. I am the Truth and you can only accept the Truth in innocence. Intellectuality has destroyed many souls, because they defy the Truth.
Be innocent, be like a little child; then Heaven will be open for you.
