Jesus:
My child, I ask you today to look at the cross where I was crucified. This cross is the altar where I immolated myself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.
This was a solid and real cross that I carried signifying all the weight that you placed upon my shoulders because of your sinfulness; this cross was my great suffering, the altar of my execution.
This cross was sanctified by my blood and now is the power to protect you and to save you.
You are helping me to carry this cross every time that you confess yours sins, and every time that you accept the Will of God.
For you all, my cross is a sign of contradiction, because no one expects to suffer, and yet it is only through suffering that the Joy that was lost through sin may be retrieved.
I ask you today to remember with thanksgiving that I paid for all your sins on the cross.
I want you to accept the little crosses that are given to you daily in the form of suffering and contradiction so that you may follow my footsteps to Calvary to sacrifice your will completely to the Will of God, to surrender your life to your Creator, to crucify the temptations of the world, the devil and the flesh and to die to your old self so that in my blood you may be purified and born again to everlasting life.
It is my Joy, to have you share my suffering so that you can reach the Glory that the Cross has merited for you.
I bless you my child.
