Sharing God’s power
It may seem ambitious to conceive such an idea in our minds, but this is precisely what this subject is all about. God is absolute, all powerful, all loving, all merciful and all kind. He has made us in his image; therefore we are his children, with the potential of becoming like Him.
If we find ourselves in a miserable state before Him it is because we have chosen to do so, He has given us the way to become his beloved children and if we listen to his voice and learn, we may enjoy the good things that He has prepared for us in this world and the world to come.
Although this book has many religious connotations, it is intended to show us that we don’t have to be saints to enjoy the good things that God has provided for us. It will be an awakening to the probabilities of success that can be found if we ally ourselves with God and follow his own directions to accomplish what is humanly impossible.
The power of God is something beyond our minds. God has the power to materialize any desire whether physical or spiritual. He created the world for us his children, and he created us so that we would know Him, love Him and serve Him. Somehow he created us so that we could be his temples, his house, and that is the concept that we must be very familiar with.
To please God and fulfill His desires for us is precisely the key to a life full of success and happiness, since our Father God created us to be happy and to enjoy His creation.
When we truly know God as He wants us to know Him, we will discover that He has been hiding only in our indifference and that He will reveal Himself to us in the same proportion that we open up to Him.
When we start truly loving God by corresponding to His own love then we will start receiving lavishly in the same way that any son receives from his rich earthly father.
We have been created also for the purpose of serving God. And when we truly serve Him, by obeying his commands and by loving our brothers then we will start fulfilling our function as true sons of God.
So by following these three principles of knowing, loving and serving God, we actually become his beloved children, who can ask and will receive because this is divine law.
We will dedicate more time to these three principles in order to be more acquainted with God so that we can experience his love to the full and that we may learn to live by His divine will.
