| Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that it's selfish of me for my mother to stay on earth with me, what a beautiful place heaven is and how wonderful it will be when she's there with you. But Lord our family is in such conflict and so many children and grandchildren need her steady and guiding hand here on earth so badly. Please Lord I pray that the scan she took today doesn't show that the cancer is growing, she has had such a hard life and has finally gotten to a point she can enjoy her family and flowers. Please Lord I need her so much more than you now. But Lord if it's to be I will understand, all that I would ask is that she go quickly, not long drawn out treatments that make her ill and keep her from enjoying her flowers.
