| Please pray that the flooding in Massachusetts subsides and that friends from Colorado can make it out for the charity show they are performing. Please let them have a safe and timely flight out here and home. Please help all those who have experienced flooding and damage from these storms.

| My brother, sister, and I will be doing an intervention next week for my mother, who has early Alzheimer's. Mary Ellen still lives by herself, but stays in her pajamas most days and claims she is not feeling well enough to get out. She has diabetes, and forgets (or won't) take her medicine for that, for depression, and for the dementia. She also forgets to eat. She doesn't even want to get dressed for Sunday Mass.
We have a friend that is willing to move in with my mother and watch over her meds and cook for her. My mother absolutely refuses this help. Mom will be coming to visit my home next week, and my siblings will be moving our friend in our mother's home while she is away.
All of us need prayers--to do God's will, for strength, for wisdom. Mom needs prayer for healing in mind and body. Also to accept help provided her, as Elizabeth did when Mary came to help her, and as Jesus did when carrying His cross.
