In Daniel 10:12-14, Daniel prays to God and God responds, but his prayer is blocked by Satan. The messenger angel, being of low rank, has to call for backup from Michael The archangel. Finally, after a couple weeks of being blocked, the angel is able to deliver Daniel's response from God to his prayers. Likewise, I feel my prayers are blocked, but not for a few weeks, but for 3 plus decades. I have been under a curse of failure, loneliness, and stagnation. The emptiness and lack of fulfillment so overwhelmed me for so long that I sank into depravity and sin. I am trying to crawl out but my faith has been almost destroyed as a result of years of no help. I have felt like a POW with a radio crying mayday over and over again year after year but no one came to rescue me. And as I waited I slowly went insane. Existence has been joyless like some sort of purgatory. Life is that miserable. Please, pray that Jesus rescues me NOW. I fear if I am forced to tread water waiting any longer I will sink to the depths. I would beg Christ, Mary, God, all the saints and angels to work on my behalf to help me gain some compensation for the years the locust have eaten.
