And the Apostles said to Jesus, Lord increase our faith.
(Luke 17:5-6) 6 And the Lord said:
If you had faith
like to a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this mulberry tree, Be thou rooted up,
and be thou transplanted into the sea: and it would obey you.
The Lord always responded the petitions of those who showed great faith by performing
a a miracle.
So we can conclude that miracles can only occur as a
result of faith, which can only be kept up through our prayers.
The Lord is very pleased with our prayers when they are made with
great faith, but faith can only grow with perseverance and trust in God.
Faith is like a fire that we must keep burning,
the fuel we provide for it is our Catholic
devotions. We have very powerful prayers like the Holy Rosary and
strong devotions like the Holy Eucharist.
